Smoothie bowls are the latest breakfast trend! They are super healthy and also super fun.Smoothie bowls are basically a nutritious and tastier twist on our usual bowl of cereal. The great thing about this is that you also have the option of creating your custom smoothie bowl with your favourite ingredients.

To make a balanced smoothie bowl blend 1 cup of your preferred frozen fruit, half a cup of liquid (Almond Milk, Yogurt, Carrot /Orange/Pomegranate Juice orCoconut Water), some ice and a little natural sweetener like honey. You can then pour this smoothie mixture into a bowl and garnish with toppings like nuts, seeds, cereals, and dried fruit.Try one of the smoothie bowl recipes detailed below and change the way you approach breakfast!


Avocado Smoothie Bowl with Cashew Cream: Avocados are filled with multiple nutrients making it an excellent choice for a smoothie bowl. Blend together cashew nut cream (mix half a cup cashew with some coconut milk), avocado, yoghurt, almond milk and half a banana for a delicious breakfast.

Blueberry Bliss Bowl: Blueberries are an excellent superfood and also contain high levels of magnesium that boost your energy. Blend together 2 cups of blueberries, a cup of almond milk, some oats, a banana and some honey for yummy, nutritious bowl. Top it with some almonds, toasted coconut and chia seeds and you are good to go!

Coconut Banana Oats Bowl with Mango: A cup of coconut milk blended together with some oats, a tablespoon of chia seeds, a banana and some vanilla extract make for a healthy, balanced meal. Top your tropical brekkiebowl with some sliced mango, grated dark chocolate and coconut flakes.
